Mobile Windshield Service Eligibility Checker
Check whether mobile windshield replacement looks practical at your home, workplace, or another location—and which conditions could make a shop or controlled service location a better fit.
This checker does not guarantee mobile availability. The provider still has to verify the vehicle, glass part, weather, workspace, adhesive instructions, safe drive-away time, and any ADAS calibration requirements.
What to confirm with the provider
Important: A mobile installation can still require a separate calibration appointment or controlled setup. The exact OEM procedure and adhesive manufacturer’s instructions control the job.
What Makes Mobile Windshield Replacement Practical?
A practical mobile installation needs more than an address. The provider needs enough safe working space, suitable weather or protection from adverse conditions, access to the vehicle, the correct glass and adhesive system, and enough time for the adhesive to reach the required minimum safe drive-away condition.
Weather & Safe Drive-Away Time
Automotive glass adhesive instructions can vary with application temperature, humidity, and product selection. The minimum safe drive-away time therefore has to be determined from the adhesive manufacturer’s current instructions for the actual conditions—not from a universal waiting period.
ADAS Calibration Can Change the Mobile Plan
Some vehicles require calibration after windshield replacement. Depending on the vehicle, calibration may be static, dynamic, combined, or another OEM-specific process. A mobile glass installation can therefore be physically possible while the complete replacement-and-calibration job still requires a second location or controlled setup.
Mobile Service at Homes, Workplaces & Parking Areas
Driveways, workplace lots, fleet yards, garages, and other parking areas can all be potential service locations, but provider policies and site conditions vary. Public streets and parking garages may add access, traffic, clearance, lighting, security, or workspace constraints.
